Optimist Club of Coronado Sports Fiesta
July 24th, 2008 Posted in Coronado News, Special Events in CoronadoThe 37th annual Optimist Club of Coronado Sports Fiesta will be held this Saturday and Sunday at North Beach/Sunset Park. The Optimist Club in partnership with the Family Gym of Coronado sponsors this event.
On Saturday morning (July 26) the 10K run will start at the North Beach back gate of Naval Station North Island. The 1 mile Rough Water Swim will start at 10:00am on the hard packed sand at North Beach.
On Sunday morning at 7:30 the mini Triathlon will start at North Beach.
The Optimist Club of Coronado’s primary mission is to support our local youth. This is the club’s big fundraiser of the year. Come out to support the Youth of Coronado!
