Helicopter Squadron 6 receives Battle Efficiency Award

has received the Battle Efficiency award for being the best helicopter squadron in the Pacific. Home base for the squadron is North Island Naval Air Station in Coronado. The squadron is currently operating with Carrier Air Wing 11 aboard the aircraft carrier Nimitz in the western Pacific Ocean.
According to a spokesman of the Naval Air Forces command, Battle Efficiency awards are given annually, based on points accumulated in various drills and performance reviews.
