Coronado Bridge West Bound Lanes Closed - Truck Overturns
March 14th, 2008 Posted in Coronado NewsAn overturned big-rig loaded with boxes shut down the west bound traffic on the Coronado Bridge on Friday morning. The truck overturned about 7:20am and a SigAlert was issued at 7:25 a.m., with Caltrans crews closing both north and southbound ramps from Interstate 5, the CHP reported. The driver was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. West bound bridge traffic was diverted to 5 South and up the Silver Strand. Traffic was backed up from Main Street in Chula Vista.
