Coronado is a Navy town, which is what makes Coronado so unique. With so many retired military and lots of active duty families living in town, it represents a lot of history and history being made. The Navy surrounds our town on both sides with North Island Naval Air Station (NASNI) and Naval Amphibious Base (NAB), collectively known as Naval Base Coronado, and they work hard to be good neighbors. We're proud of our military and you will see that pride displayed all over Coronado year round.
