On Sunday, July 6, 2008, Sacred Heart Parish School will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of its first graduating class with an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Thanksgiving at Sacred Heart Church, 7th and C Avenue. Afterwards the school will hold an Open House and tours for all alumni, teachers, parents and friends from 12:00 noon to 2 p.m.

This annual event brings Coronado High School graduates back every year to connect with classmates and friends.
The party is at the Coronado Golf Course starting at 8:00pm on July 3rd. Must be 21 years or older to be admitted.
There is still time to sign up for the run at Tidelands Park on Friday, July 4th @ 7:00am. July 2nd is the deadline to register online. Cost is $30.00. Day of race registration begins at 5:30am and the cost is $35.00.
The proceeds benefit the Coronado Islander Sports Foundation.

On Sunday morning, June 29th, at Glorietta Bay Park, a Stand Up Paddle Surfing demonstration will take place from 8-11am. Sponsored by Emerald City Surf Shop and C4 Waterman, there will be a whole fleet of stand up paddle boards and paddles on hand to try. Additionally, all event attendees will receive a discount on C4 products purchased at Emerald City Surf Shop.
